NAGUAL SOUNDS WINS DESIGNPREIS BRANDENBURG 2013
Nagual Dance is a 3D-camera and computer steered system and social design device that translates the data of movement and dance into music on which you can move and dance. Different body parts activate different sound elements and instruments, and so does the intensity of the movement.
Last night, the system which pretends to be the world’s first of its kind was awarded with the first prize in the category interface of the Designpreis Brandenburg at the Nikolaisaal in Potsdam, while a demonstration also proved the enormous potential of this Berlin based Startup – not just in choreography but also in therapy, and in its effort to democratize music. The prize-giving ceremony of the Designpreis was part of the Designtage Brandenburg. http://www.designtage-brandenburg.de/http://nagualsounds.com/
