SOON IN THE BOOKSHOP: DIETER KRAMER: KREUZBERG 1968-2013. ABBRUCH, AUFBRUCH, UMBRUCH. Back in time: the Naunynstraße in the early seventies, published in Kreuzberg 1968 – 2013,by the writer, photographer and urbanist Dieter Kramer, whose 4 by 8 meter model of the Berlin inner city is hanging in the permanent exhibition of Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung. In 1968, Kramer rented his first studio in the Lübbener strasse in Kreuzberg, 70sqm for 70 DM-mark. He has been documenting the neighborhood ever since. The material collected is now also partly available in a book that tries to capture the continuous transformation of Berlin’s most popular district in image and text.
